Big things are happening for The Point Pub & Grill!
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve officially secured our first Utah franchise location, marking a huge milestone in The Point’s continued growth. The new restaurant will open in early 2027 at 1810 Washington Blvd. in Ogden, Utah — and it’s just the beginning.
This beautiful new build will be part of a brand-new mixed-use development and will feature a covered rooftop patio, riverfront views, and direct access to the area’s new bike and walking paths. It’s the perfect setting for our unique blend of comfort, quality, and community — and we can’t wait to share The Point experience with the people of Ogden.
A Perfect Fit for Utah
Leading the expansion is franchisee Darrel Schildknecht, a seasoned restaurateur and entrepreneur with a passion for hospitality and excellence. Darrel brings years of operational experience and a deep appreciation for what makes restaurants truly special — great food, warm service, and genuine community connection.

Darrel plans to open three Point Pub & Grill locations across the greater Salt Lake City area in the coming years, with the Ogden site leading the way. He also plans to include private dining and event spaces at the new location — a reflection of The Point’s commitment to being more than just a restaurant, but a true gathering place for the community.
